WINSTON AND SHEILA, ALL I CAN SAY IS, THANKS FOR THE USE OF YOUR SHED FOR THE DISTRICT I WEST FAMILY DAY GET TOGETHER. WAS A FANTASTIC TIME AND ENJOYED BY ALL. ALL OF THE JUNIOR ABATE MEMBERS HAD A BALL IF MY GRANDSON WYATT WAS ANY INDICATION. HE WAS ASLEEP LONG BEFORE WE GOT HOME. THANKS AGAIN.
Been the mother of the Nov member of the month profile, I have to give her a "thumbs up" Sheila is the eldest of four girls, been the only one born in 'GA'. She was born when I was very young and we often joke that she "raised me". She always had a level head and took on respondsbililies very young. She lived most of her first nine years in southern California and upon returning to Ga at age 9,she didn't understand our southen slang. When arriving home from school each day, she'd ask me the meanings of words. Lke when the teacher ask her to hand her that hickey off of her desk. But it wasn't long before our family picked right up on it. LOL.
Sheila like all my daughters, is my best friend. She takes the time out of her busy life to visit me each Sunday after noon. and is always willing to listen to us all. She loves giving and helping others. Everyone loves Sheila and Winnie. When in need they are the first ones there. If they see my need, like a water leak, busted water pipe, they are right here to fix it. We in our family are trudly blessed to have two wonderful people in our lives............
THANKS TO ALL OF THE '' DEDICATED TO THE CAUSE'' RIDERS WE HAD ON THE RIDE FOR THE CHILDREN, TEDDY BEAR RUN ON 9-26-09. IF ANY OF YOU WERE IN GEORGIA, YOU KNOW IT RAINED LIKE POURING IT OUT OF A BOOT. IN FACT, PAUL DID JUST THAT ONCE WE WERE AT THE HOSPITAL. THERE HAVE BEEN SOME COMMENTS MADE THAT IT WAS TOO WET TO RIDE AND IF I HAD HAD A COUPLE OF NEW RIDERS BEHIND ME I WOULD PROBABLY AGREE. BUT, THAT NOT BEING THE CASE, I HAD EVERY CONFIDENCE THAT WE WOULD MAKE IT THERE IN ONE PIECE AND DO EXACTLY WHAT WE SET OUT TO DO. BECAUSE OF THE SKILL AND ATTENTION PAID TO WHAT WE WERE DOING , WE MADE IT THROUGH THIS RIDE AS THO THE SUN WAS SHINING AND IT WAS A PLEASANT 85 DEGREES. BY THE WAY, THE ''SON'' WAS WATCHING OVER EACH AND EVERYONE OF US BECAUSE WE WERE DOING SOMETHING FOR SOMEONE ELSE INSTEAD OF OURSELVES. WHAT YOU MEN AND WOMEN DID WILL BRING MANY SMILES TO MANY YOUNG FACES AND AS ''BOSS TERRY'' WOULD SAY, ''THAT'S A GOOD THING''. SO IN CLOSING I JUST WANT TO SAY ''THANKS'' FRANK
